Welcome! The mission of HAPPY HAPPY PIZZA is simple: to collect photos of the greatest food in the world made even better... by putting a smiley face on it! Got a smiley pizza? Send your photos and story to The Big Cheese and we'll post it on the site!
Jack o' Lantern Pizza from Wanda the Witch

Believe it or not, Hallowe'en is just around the corner and if you're not already thinking about what kind of amazing pizza you're going to make
then guess what: your party is gonna suck big time.
Thankfully there are good witches like Wanda the Witch who have been versed in the secretive, magical art of crafting happy face pizzas.
According to Hallowe'en Kitchen, the official web site of Wanda the Witch, most of her recipes
"have been around for decades, if not centuries", so we certainly weren't expecting anything groundbreaking. However, this chick is a witch (and kind of cute), so we figure
that if anyone would know how to make a proper Hallowe'en pizza a real witch would, right?!
A Message from The Big Cheese!
Hello pizza fans, pepperoni picassos, salami samurais, garlic gladiators, mozzarella maestros, ricotta raphaels and lovers of all things cheesy!
Since Happy Happy Pizza first launched we've had ups and downs in our readership. We've had surges of traffic from Australia, Japan, the UAE, the UK and Canada.
Recently we seem to have hit it big the the USA: the home of New York, Chicago and California and some of the greatest pizza on earth.
So here is a shout-out to our American friends. Thanks for visiting and keep it cheesy!
Flickr Find: Mr. Sausage Balls

We're not certain if "I M A BZ B" made this pizza herself, or if she merely bore witness to someone else's pizza genius and decided to photograph this pizza for posterity.
In any case, it's been made and photographed and therefore deserves to be scrutinized by The Big Cheese!
Looks like a store-bought pizza crust topped with tomato sauce devoid of additional spices such as basil of thyme. Spice isn't for everyone so that we can forgive. Pepperoni eyes are now
becoming standrd issue at Happy Happy Pizza. Mozzarella for hair and a goatee are fine, and the abundance of spicy sausage balls that make up this character's pupils, nose and mouth
earn him the nickname "Mr. Sausage Balls"!
Mikes Restaurant Caters to Sophisticated Tastes

Mikes started out as a sub sandwich rstaurant back in 1967 and is now a restaurant chain with over a hundred locations in the USA and Canada.
And if you happen to have one of these restaurants in your area, we recommend you give them a visit. However, regardless of whether you are 6 years old or
66 years old you should be sure to ask for a kids menu so you can order their Happy Face Pizza.
Creative Pizza Ideas from Geronimo Stilton

So the other day I was browsing through the kids' book section of my local bookstore with my son when I came across this
fantastic cookbook: The Geronimo Stilton Cookbook: Fun recipes for parents and kids to cook together. One look at the cover
and I knew that this would quickly become an essential resource in my happy face pizza library.
This book is packed with great ideas for more than just pizza. There are tips for parents and kids, plus lots of bits of encouragement for children to use their imaginations
and get creative in the kitchen.
